Also included is an original new tune 'Japanese Zippie Youth'.This album which covers from Trance and Techno to House and Breakbeats, can also be enjoyed as a prophet of Trance music AQi Fzonoas brand new hit album.AQi Fzono >Artist/composer AQi Fzono, who has a cross-border/genre fan base, is best known for his translunary and spacey sound texture he creates. His music career began in the late 1980s when Electronic Music was still in its infancy. With Aurora Heads in the US and Far East Acid House Quartet in Japan, he has created number of pioneering works of Trance. With his solo albums released in parallel with the band works, he has invented and propounded some new and original musical methodologies such as 'Acid Music' and 'Symphonic Techno'. The sound he creates by kaleidoscopically cross-fertilizing different genres from Trance/Techno, Ambient, Rock, to Classical Music has gained international recognition.Currently he is based in the State of Washington, USA and Japan and continuing to expand his musical horizon.Biography:Born in 1969. He studied Classical Music as well as Electronic Music/Contemporary Classical Music from a young age. He began his music career with a Psychedelic Rock band 'Midara Gokoro' in 1986. Fzono organized 'Etherophonic Orchestra', the first custom Orchestra by totally electronic musical instruments in Japan. He composed original works and held many concerts. He moved to Europe in 1987 and settled in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Shortly after that he began leading a wandering life across Europe, Asia and other parts of the world to seek his own music style researching and experiencing Ethnic and Ancient Music of the world. Rediscovery of the Ethnic Music of Asia where he is originally from had a great influence on his later works. Also in 1987, AQi Fzono started Trance Electronic music Unit 'Psychedelic Plants Research Laboratory' in Japan and released an album. While he was staying in New York, he held audio-visual live performance series titled 'Multimedia Visionquest' with various guest musicians, rave dancers and performance artists. The unit released three albums under the name 'Psychedelic Plants Research Laboratory' (Sometimes under the name 'Aurora Heads' in US), and later became known as a groundbreaker of Trance Music (Psychedelic Trance, Tribal Trance, Psybient) and outdoor Rave Parties. In 1988, a legendary Japanese Rave band 'Far East Acid House Quartet, Otherwise the LSD Liberation Front' was formed in London. They appeared mainly in the underground scenes in Asia and Europe, released 6 albums, and acquired the stature of legend. AQi Fzono was a composer / keyboard player of the band until 1997.In parallel with the band activities, he began recording his solo works. In 1988, he released his first solo album 'Phosphorescence' (under the name 'Siamese Twin') from Nerve Nets Records, a ELectronic music label in New York. He was highly praised for his original Electronic Music style and it was described as 'a unique cross-fertilization of Psychedelic, Electronic, Trance, and Classical Music'.In his 2nd solo album 'Echoes' (1990), with the theme of Arcanum and Pneuma of Nature, he created a trancy and translunary world using the visual-like effect sounds that synthesizers excel. This new method/genre, which was viewed as Impressionism of Electronic Music, was named as 'Symphobient', and became an original representing term for AQi Fzonoas earlier music style.Subsequently, he released his 3rd album 'Ruins' (1993) that some influences of Psybient and Acid House were brought in, and then the colossal 4th album 'Cathedral' (1995) that combined Goa/Psy Trance, Ethnic Music, Musique Concrete, and Classical Music. With these three albums he concluded his 'Symphobient Trilogy'. They were praised for by not only Techno listeners but also by the listeners of other genres such as Psychedelic Rock, Progressive Rock, IDM, Classical Music and Contemporary Classical Music. Two singles from his solo albums 'Ruins 2' and 'Cathedral 1' became Trance Music club hits and remixed by many DJs, and featured in club events and fashion shows throughout the world. With those earlier solo albums, he propounded and developed his own methodology 'Acid Sound Movie' which combines Trance, Psybient, Techno House, IDM, Progressive Rock and other styles in one suite that has a visual and virtual realistic story line, and generates a tripy feel when listened throughout the entire album. After the releases of those albums, the rareness and the originality of his music world began to receive cross-border/genre recognition.'Expressing the Altered State Trip of Virtual Reality by Electronic Music' a this concept led to his next innovative methodology/style 'Acid Symphony'.In his 5th and breakthrough album 'Cosmology' (1998), he fused Trance, Ambient, Techno, IDM, Classical Music and other styles freely, refining 'Acid Sound Movie' further. This album was also the grand sum of his works from the a90s, and virtually the worldas first album to propounded and developed the new genres 'Sci-fi Music' and 'Symphonic Techno'. It was reviewed as 'virtual SF movie done by music', 'new dimensional Spectacle Techno beyond Techno', '2001: A Space Odyssey of Electronic Music', and 'Trance Symphony of the 21st century'.This album, which includes a club hit single 'Cosmology 5', is still a cross-border/genre long seller hit after 10 years of its original release. A remaster version was released in 2006.Also around the same time, 'Electrode Land' from the 3rd album/club remix album of Aurora Heads 'Mrs. Cyborgas 12 Dreams', and 'Mrs. Cyborg', a Trance number with a pop twist that featured a vocoder vocal, were routinely played at clubs, adding more hits to Fzono as a composeras repertoire. With his unique and consistent expression style from thea80s and the a90s, he was described as 'Illusionalist Progressive Trance', 'Kubrick of Electronic Music' (a review of 'Cosmology' ), 'Magician of Synthesizer', 'Mr. Acid', and 'Godfather of Zippie/Neo Hippie'. He was also covered by the media as a groundbreaker of Trance and Rave culture, and his charismatic reputation of his unique personality and lifestyle/consciousness was beginning to be unveiled. In his 6th album 'Chronicle' (2003) which was to celebrate the millennium, his music style was dramatically changed from previously employed dance/electrinica, and featured an operatic diva Janice Bradley, orchestra, choir, and ethnic instruments of Japan and China, creating the sound of a colossal Neo-Classical symphonic poem of the new era, and resulted in further expansion of his cross-genre fan base. This album was critically acclaimed around the world, and highly praised by the listeners of Progressive Rock, Classical and Contemporary Classical Music in Japan. On September 21, 2007, after an interval of 4 years, AQi Fzonoas new album, a club dance remix and also AQi Fzonoas best hit album with his best known and club hit tracks remixed by Trance-Rave Daughters, 'Trance-Rave Cosmology' (AQi Fzono with Trance-Rave Daughters) was released worldwide, celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut.
