Fratellis : Flathead Ep

Although their debut, Costello Music, was already out in the U.K. by the time The Flathead EP was issued, American listeners were finally offered a taste of what the Fratellis were doing with the four songs found here. Costello Music would come out in the U.S. a few months later, but the EP contains two of the singles from the album, 'Henrietta' and the iPod-friendly 'Flathead,' as well as two other songs, 'Stacie Anne' and 'Cigarello,' both of which also do a good job at showing off the band's bright, dancey Scottish garage rock, and set the stage for the upcoming full-length. ~ Marisa Brown, All Music Guide
