2009 release. The complete combo session plus the original soundtrack by Johnny Mandel, made in 1958 for the film I Want to Live. The music features Gerry Mulligan along with other stars like Art Farmer, Bud Shank and Frank Rosolino, as well as Mandel's orchestra including such figures as Rosolino himself, Jack Sheldon and Joe Maini. Three small group songs from movie soundtrack of The Subterraneans featuring Mulligan, Sheldon and Art Pepper have been added as bonus tracks. Jazz Plaza Music.
