 Notes & Reviews
A great album that has not dated.
- Paul Murray, 12/13/2010, Australia

In my opinion, easily the best Grand Funk Railroad album ever. 'Black Licorice', 'Walk Like a Man', and 'Stop Lookin' Back' just rock.
- Allen Eggins, 05/27/2008, Australia

The best album.
- John Steve Yap, 12/20/2006, Philippines

Very good record.
- Stein Arve Berg, 05/15/2006, Norway

Grand Funk has been said to be one of the bands responsible for the Garage Ban sound. True, but here you get a healthy dose of some of the 70's best progressive stuff. Other than title cut, real strong material here. 'Stop Lookn Back', 'Creepn'', and 'Black Licorice'. There is bonus material, which includes an acoustic mix of 'Stop Lookin'Back'. One of my all time favorite Funk albums.
- Suzanne Desmond, 01/12/2006, USA

They lost the 'Railroad' in their name but they gained a producer (Todd Rundgren) and a #1 hit single! With four bonus tracks.

We're An American Band
Stop Lookin' Back
Black Licorice
The Railroad
Ain't Got Nobody
Walk Like a Man
Loneliest Rider
The End
Stop Lookin' Back (Acoustic Mix)
We're An American Band (2002 Remix)
