Scandinavian pop that goes directly to the heart and makes it beat, as if it always were sun, summer and happy days.

Bonjour!I began and still make music to give myself energy and inspiration so I can keep trying to do all the things i dream of, i share it cause I hope it will give the same energy to others than just myself.I play with with people i like in places we share. I am a chef making spaghettis with sauce and soon an architect making cities with people, my days are spent in Malmoe/Karlskrona/LinkA?ping Sweden, Hamburg/Altona Germany and Paris/Suresnes France and sometimes backpacking around in other strange places visiting people...For more info ask me all the things u wonder or go to gustavmagnusson.comhello hello! Love G G:s story told by friendsThe making of the cd 'Gustav Magnusson'Hidden behind a letterbox in the center of a Swedish town called NorrkA?ping lies Gustav Magnussons cd 'The SA?derA?kra Session'. It's a friend of producer Jacob Alm who has hidden the record at this location while he jumps off and on the passing train between VA?sterA?s and Karlskrona. Later the same night the producer gets the mysterious message 'package delivered'. Producer Jacob, who is on his way home from a very late party, is prepared for anything. Out of curiosity he takes the route past the letterbox in the early hours of the morning. He finds the recording. And then what happens? Gustav and Jacob hook up during summer 2005 and that's the start of an exciting collaboration in DAVES recording studio in NorrkA?ping. After a month filled with fantastic musicians and more friends than you can count, seven of the tunes are complete.Gustav goes of to the ' Ballymalloe Cookery School ' in Ireland and returns with monkfish. He is greeted by thick winter snow in Sweden. The record is completed and Gustav is off again. This time to family on Hawaii where he plays at pubs, cafA?s and twice on 'Hawaiian Public Radio' (KIPO), resulting in coverage on theartsofhonolulu.com. In Sweden the biggest festival after Roskilde, ie the Hultsfredsfestival, wants him to join, Gustav returns for final mastering. His new cover and homepage hits the scene. Gustav is born in Stockholm, moved to Norway long enough to say something odd in Norwegian. He grew up in Malmoe, outside Copenhagen, with his dad. He would meet his mother on Hawaii with ukuleles. He sang in choirs and played piano at his granny's place when he was big enough to reach the pedals. His funky guitar teacher advised him to try on his own and he did. MalmA? being the musical south of Sweden he meet a whole bunch of musicians. They started their own band called 'Building Bears'. When Gustav moves to study architecture the band splits. He ends up playing on his own in a space not much bigger than his student bed. His mates at university walk around the grounds humming his tunes and demand a cd. Gustav is forced to go off to a tiny studio in a barn outside his university town Karlskrona and spend his last Swedish kroner on four hours of studio time. Gustav and the producer who works in the barn, has so much fun that Gustav misses his last bus back to town. The result is an interesting recording and the fastest car race ever, with a bus. After this uncompromising procedure, the record can be heard on Canadian Radio. It is recommended on websites such as 'digfi.com'. Friends and students walks around singing the songs. This is the story how the real production started with producer Jacob Alm.As told by Gustavs friends.Go to gustavmagnusson.com for video biography
