 Notes & Reviews

Great nostalgia.
- Paul Murray, 11/23/2010, Australia

Love Marty Robbins, and this is a good sampling.
- Kathleen Neilson, 10/10/2008, USA

I love this CD; however, the quality of the sound is not too clean. It sounds like he's singing in a barrel on a few of the songs. Sometimes the quality of the music is compromised when it is redone.
- Cynthia Miley, 04/02/2008, USA

Love, love, love this CD.
- Anne Ross, 04/23/2007, Canada

Starting with the rockabilly of 'I'll Go on Alone' in '52 (a rare instance of a country artist's debut chart single hitting #1), and the definitive version of 'Singing the Blues' in 1956, Robbins developed an uncanny knack for anticipating every musical trend that came along. These 16 tunes (including fifteen #1 hits!) reveal Marty's incredible career from '52 to '82, encompassing honky-tonk and trail songs, Hawaiian and Jazz, and of course, pure Country style.
