A unique blend with a true Canadian west coast feel.Familar music you've never heard before. Paul was born and raised on Vancouver Island. He has been playing since 10 years of age. He performed in his school choir, and has always been playing or performing. In the past he has played venues all over Vancouver Island and in the interior. Paul developed a unique style that is hard to define, while performing in coffee houses and lounges. He has played at many venues and festivals especially through the 70as and 80as. He has competed in many fiddling contests, competed in Expo 86' and he won the BC open Fiddling championship in 87'. Paul is a prolific songwriter, acoustic guitar player, fiddler and performs all original music. He has recently opened for famed blues player Ken Hamm. He has been playing at benefits and local concerts. He is very active with the local songwriters circle. He has completed recording his CD at Raincoast Studio, with Jerry Paquette producing. Paul is very excited about all of the creative people that have made contributions on the project. People like Paul Nixon who played in The Down Child Blues Band, Brent Beeler whose talents are endless. Jordan Stringer whose percussion was amazing. Paul is a frequent Saturday afternoon performer at Tinaas Diner located in downtown Nanaimo.
