He has studied music at University of Utah, Solano College, The Berkeley Jazz School and Diablo Valley College. Paul has toured The Continent twice, toured The US and played locally for years. He then joined the Salt Lake City Mime Troupe. The Troupe was an avant-garde mime and clown troupe that traveled the United States and Europe. Paul was a member of the supporting band and often performed as a clown on stage.After leaving the troupe, Paul stayed in Europe and performed with the Friend's Road Show, The Colonel Bogus Band, Pigeon Drop, and The Full Moon Band. He also developed a solo act mixing originals and selected covers.Paul has been performing off and on in the Bay Area since 1993. Paul is the keyboard player for the Davis Ave Jazz Trio. He recently opened for John McCutcheon in Walnut Creek. And he performs on piano at community events throughout the Bay Area. Paul's music is a rich renaissance blend of folk, rock, pop, and jazz. He co-writes with his wife Michelle whose lyrics add a poetic touch with images of today and yesterday intertwined in a mosaic of their life experiences and impressions. Paul's first solo CD titled Vagabond, released in mid 2002, was 2 years in the making and 10 years in the dreaming. He has taken a theatrical approach which transcends many genres and styles. It is a journey suitable for Vagabonds and those who just dream of becoming one.
