The first disc is indespensible--Clarence White shines bright and the 'Eight Miles High' is incredible. Disc Two is all right, but McGuinn had become so self indulgent at this point that it can be a bit distracting.

This album represents the best of the'second generation' Byrds that some prefer over the original line-up (this reviewer included). The addition of the 'unissued' CD is an added plus almost makes this a anthology of the McQuinn/Parsons/White/Battin era. Highly recommended!
