A simplified, more straightforward 'Camel' make for greater commercial appeal and accessability at the cost of charm, magic, and all sense of adventure the band possessed only a few years earlier. It is immaculately produced and recorded, which makes the end result all the more harder to swallow. 'Ice' is the stand-out track and Andy plays guitar as he always does - with great melodic sense and touch.
