Excellent performances but the music doesn't succeed in reaching out very far beyond the 'easy-listening-cool' of late 50s jazz.

There's incredible chemistry between Cannonball, Miles Davis, Art Blakey and the rest of the band on this 1958 session. Contains extra photos and a bonus cut, Bangoon .
