 Notes & Reviews

This album is my favorite of all the Chicago albums. It is what I consider the true Chicago sound. I never really cared for any other Chicago album. Chicago 2 is next best.
- John Tinta, 11/01/2010, USA

Their best album.
- Ken Wright, 04/22/2010, Australia

A must have and much, much butter than the overrated ear candy Chicago recorded later in their career.
- Diem Wolff, 12/14/2009, Netherlands

Groundbreaking first outting.
- Stefan Nilsson, 07/29/2009, Sweden

Groundbreaking debut!
- Anthony Fullarton, 07/08/2009, Australia

Nice album.
- John Steve Yap, 11/06/2006, Philippines

I never realised how many of Chicago's tunes I knew from this first recording. It sure must have gotten lots of airplay over the years.
- Gl Fisher, 09/14/2006, Australia

This was a testament to solid fusion if there ever was one. They tried blending jazz, soul, and rock in one album, and the experiment paid off. They did with rock and jazz what Santana did with Latin music. Arguably one of the most important rock albums ever.
- Rhett Taylor, 06/28/2006, Canada

I first heard this in Sydney Australia in 1969. It just STOPPED me dead. Chicago was a fork in the road, they changed my direction. The ultimate band: peerless.
- William Christie, 03/14/2005, Australia

Full title is: Chicago Transit Authority

Their audacious debut double album from 1969 featured the hits Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?; Questions 67 & 68, and I'm a Man .
