To be honest, I never did care for the Dixie Chicks. Their music and presentation reminded me of the flagrantly insincere, dancing girls in the stri clubs, trying to convince you to turn that dollar you're a sticking in their skivvies into a 'fiver'. The reason I purchased =Home= was to show my support f free speech. Initially, I never opened it myself, but here at the American Eskimo Rescue and Sanctuary of Iowa; we have volunteers with all kinds of musical tastes come through here daily. One of them had opened and put this CD in the player and when I was walking through the room, I heard this wonderful mixture of real sounds and compassionate harmonies emanating from the speakers I asked who it was. And Yes, to my surprise, it was this Dixie Chicks album. I have been digging it since. What a fitting title.
