Who needs drugs. Just put on the 'July 4th' movement of the Holiday Symphony full blast and you'll never 'come down' from the high. In fact play ALL the movements at their apporiate holidays full blast at around four in the morning. Your neighbors will love you. Even the Unanswered Question seems to have been answered here, with this somewhat traditional (if there is such a thing with Ives) approach, but at least you begin to understand what this Insurance Man gone amuk is all about. The mix seems to be a bit better here, though I still think the trumpet solo in the July 4th Movement is way, way too muddy. However I would imagine that being the sound director on an Ives recording is sort of like being the only beer vendor at a Dodger game. - Tom Greene, 06/04/1998, USA Full title is: New England Holidays: Music by Charles Ives
