Joe South : Classic Masters

I bought this on spec because I remembered some of the songs. I was surprised that it was gutsier than I recalled. I also knew more of them than I had thought. This is good stuff.

Old fave. Joe South was a '60s hit-maker who suddenly vanished, leaving only this collection of articulate, well-crafted pop songs. 'Games People Play'? 'These Are Not My People'? He had a sharp eye for what was happening at the time, and a deft hand a t putting it into words.

A must have for Boomers! This has all the songs that were big on the radio by Joe South. Down to earth stuff like 'The Games People Play' and 'These Are No My People'. Got to love the late '60s stuff since it was such a great time back then!
