John Denver has a tremendous catalog of recordings that will probably never be realized by most pop music listeners, familiar with only his radio hits of the 70's. This CD replaces the vinyl I nearly wore out listening to catchy tunes like 'Cowboy's Delight', 'Late Night Radio' and sweet sounding odes 'Song of Wyoming', 'Shipmates and Cheyenne'. Easily one of his best all around albums along with Rocky Mountain High.

'Cowboy's Delight' is a beautiful waltz and, in particular, seems to be one of Denver's most-neglected masterpieces. 'Late Nite Radio,' in contrast, delivers a good (and intentional) chuckle. The sound is excellent.
